[mailgraph] Re: CentOS/Postfix: graphs display no content [followup]


I am a newbie to mailgraph. got it working a couple ofweeks ago on a freebsd
box with (much appreciated!)
help from this list and from the freebsd port maintainer.
I saw your posts to the list indeed. Congrats on getting it working

Hehe, I'm getting daily stats written to the yearly graph...so I guess you
could say that - in some way - it's working :)

here are a couple of pointers, maybe they help ?

/var/log/maillog is root:root and as of today 644

in FreeBSD I had to edit the appropriate line in
> /etc/newsyslog.conf so that when the file is rotated
> the new, empty file is accessible to the user running
> mailgraph.


Well, in this case, that would be logrotate which accepts post-rotate
commands

2. what is the content of /tmp/mailgraph/,cgi-bin/ ?
> are there png files in there or not ?


Yep there are .png's in there for sure, with mod dates of minutes ago, the
last time the age was reloaded and images generated
